Principal Membership
Description:
Principal Members ($10,000/year) are the only members of the Ethernet Alliance with voting rights. Principal members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors and chair member working committees. Principal members receive complimentary participation in all Ethernet Alliance private interoperability test events.
Benefits:
Principal members have the ability to influence the direction of the Ethernet Alliance with their voting rights, everything from which member working committees get formed to who sits on the Board of Directors. As the highest membership level, Principal members also have higher priority for events such as conference speakerships and interoperability trade shows.
Apply for Principal Membership
The requirements for membership in the Ethernet Alliance are:
- Publicly display a legitimate business interest in the IEEE 802 Ethernet
- Publicly support IEEE 802 Ethernet by shipping products or enabling technologies; be developing technologies and or products, or be actively involved with IEEE 802 Ethernet.
- Pay the annual dues in accordance with the set fees for the level of participation. The initial annual dues are payable upon membership acceptance.
Once your application is received and approved, you will receive notification of acceptance via email. Once accepted, an invoice will be generated. Payment can be made by check, credit card or wire transfer. Note: your membership will not be activated until payment has been received.
