Ecosystem at AdvancedTCA Summit 2008

 

Mountain View, CA – October 21, 2008 – The Ethernet Alliance today announced its participation at the 2008 AdvancedTCA Summit, October 21-23 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.  Ethernet Alliance members will participate in an Ethernet Ecosystem panel on Tuesday, October 21 at 4:15 p.m.

 

The panel, moderated by Jag Bolaria of the Linley Group, will bring together various experts from the Ethernet community to explore how the Ethernet Ecosystem is impacting and integrating with ATCA blade server systems. The panel consists of a diverse group of industry experts, and includes:

 

  • Anthony Faustini, Cisco
  • John D’Ambrosia, Force10 Networks
  • Asif Hazarika, Fujitsu
  • Mike Bennett, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
  • Badri Gomatam, Vitesse

 

The annual AdvancedTCA summit brings vendors together to focus on the current state of the Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (AdvancedTCA), the emerging standard platform for telecommunications equipment.  This year’s summit will provide vendors with the latest information on creating standards-based telecomm equipment, reducing equipment cost and development time, and making equipment more flexible and easy to maintain.  Participants will attend half-day forums and tutorials, keynote speeches, paper and panel discussions and have the opportunity to meet with ATCA industry experts.
