The Ethernet in the Data Center subcommittee is focused on increasing efficiency in data centers by ensuring broad adoption of the IEEE 802.1 standards on Ethernet networks throughout the industry. Our three priorities are interoperability through events with multiple vendors demonstrating converged interoperability, acting as a learning center to further knowledge of Data Center Bridging through webinars and white papers, and finally to increase awareness of Data Center Bridging by participating in trade show events with demonstrations of the efficiency and effectiveness of Data Center Bridging.
