Cabling is an important part of the Ethernet ecosystem. The subcommittee is charted to explore the next generation cabling technologies for data center and enterprise environments. This subcommittee is responsible for working with other EA’s subcommittees and standard bodies to promote next generation Ethernet ecosystem. The subcommittee is a platform to gather and exchange data relative to observed deployment models, applications, and reaches, and to share that information with Ethernet Alliance members and other related standards bodies. This subcommittee can also be a channel to enhance the communication with cabling standard bodies.
